Camp Lazlo

Camp Lazlo is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray for Cartoon Network. The series follows Lazlo, an anthropomorphic spider monkey, and his friends at a Boy Scout–like summer camp called Camp Kidney, set in the Pimpleback Mountains. It aired from July 8, 2005, to March 27, 2008, and won three Primetime Emmy Awards and three Pulcinella Awards.

Lore & Background
The series is set in a universe of anthropomorphic animals and focuses on three campers at Camp Kidney: Lazlo the spider monkey, Raj the Indian elephant, and Clam the pygmy rhinoceros. They reside in the Jelly Bean cabin and often clash with the pessimistic Scoutmaster Lumpus, a moose, but get along with his assistant Slinkman, a banana slug. Across the lake lies Acorn Flats, home to the all-female Squirrel Scouts, led by Jane Doe and her assistant Ms. Rubella Mucus. Other campers include Edward the platypus, Chip and Skip the dung beetle twins, Samson the guinea pig, and twin loons Dave and Ping Pong. The show's humor is similar to Joe Murray's earlier Nickelodeon series Rocko's Modern Life, but aimed at a younger audience.
