The story follows twin sisters Riko and Rimu Mikogami, who live in the nature-rich city of Kamihama. While searching for a runaway cat, they discover a mysterious Kirumin compact in an attic, which allows them to transform into real animals while wearing character costumes. Their older sister Nagisa soon joins them, and together they have cute, funny, and sometimes dangerous adventures while solving mysteries. Kawamori's theme for the anime is: 'What if you can really transform into an animal?'
